The ultimate hospo solution
You’ve got your own way of running things—maybe it’s split lunch and dinner menus, fast-paced table turns, or a delivery setup that’s grown more complex over time. That’s why these latest updates to OrderUp Blue are designed to give you more control—over timing, order flow, and delivery fees. Not just more settings, but smarter defaults that match the way you operate.
We’ve rolled out four powerful upgrades that help you manage your digital operations with precision.
Here’s what’s fresh:
Accurate Menu Availability with Category-Based Time Settings
You can now set time-specific availability at the category level for each menu—and the system will apply them independently. That means no more overlapping or conflicting time settings when running breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus across multiple configurations.
Block Time Between Orders from the Same Table
Stop duplicate or rapid-fire Dine-In orders from overwhelming your kitchen. The new Block Time feature lets you add a short cooldown between orders placed from the same table—fully configurable by venue. Customers will see a notification asking them to wait if they try to place another order before the timer expires.
Tiered Delivery Fees Based on Order Value
You’re no longer locked into a one-size-fits-all delivery fee. With this enhancement, you can configure multiple fee tiers based on the total order value. For example, you might set:
$10 delivery fee for orders under $50
$5 fee for orders between $50 and $100
Free delivery for orders over $100
You’ll also get built-in validation logic to prevent overlapping ranges or incorrect entries—so the structure is airtight before it goes live. Once configured, the system automatically applies the correct fee at checkout. These tiers help you balance profitability with incentives, making it easier to reward high-value customers while covering your costs on smaller orders.
Flat Fee or Subsidised? You Decide.
If you’re using White Label Delivery, you now have the option to choose between two fee structures to suit your business model:
The Subsidised Fee Model applies default delivery charges (e.g. $3 for small orders, $5 for mid-range, $10 for large orders).
The new Flat Fee Model lets you define your fees for each order tier, putting pricing control directly in your hands. (E.g., $6 for orders under $50, $3 for orders between $50–$100, and Free delivery for orders over $100).
Built-in validations help prevent overlaps, empty tiers, or invalid values so your pricing logic stays consistent. You can toggle between these models in the backend settings. The system will then apply the correct structure automatically at checkout based on your configuration.
Whether you’re managing complex menus, pacing your kitchen, or tightening delivery margins, these updates give you the control to run your operations with confidence.
